In November 2015, Diane was diagnosed with ALS “Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis” also known as (Lou Gehrig's Disease). ALS is a terminal neuromuscular disease with no known cure. While it’s amazing that Diane is beating the odds of the typical ALS life expectancy, she has lost most of the use of her arms and hands and continues to struggle as the ALS symptoms worsen. Expenses continue to grow as she needs in-home care for everyday tasks like dressing, bathing, food prep, etc.
Monies raised for Diane Mummaw will go directly to her to help cover the growing costs of care and specialized equipment she needs to continue her battle against ALS. Your support, in any form, is greatly appreciated and helpful.
Thank you all for the financial and emotional support you have given Diane for the past 5 years! We hope you will join us in our continuing efforts to provide her the support she needs.
