Help Debbi Nepal through cancer
Donation protected
Hello my name is Diane Ihle. I'm here on behalf of my Best Friend Debbi Nepal and her daughter Rosie.
I've known Debbi over 40 years and she's always had the ability to make me laugh, come to find out when she had her beautiful daughter Rosie, who was born with heart problems, Turners Disease, Asbergers, and Bi-Polar along with many other difficulties, my friend Debbi was also diagnosed with Asbergers Autism.
which in Retrospect explains a lot. I'm trying to help my wonderful friend who has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Vulvar Cancer. I took her to Parkland Hospital a couple of weeks ago to get a biopsy of her bladder, cervix, anus and labia. I apologize for the graphic description. My friend Debbi is an amazing woman and my hero, she had to quit working when she had Rosie due to all her health issues. Now Debbi is in poor health and needs love, support and prayers.
I will take Debbi to Parkland on February 20th to get the lymph nodes in her groin removed, so we can go onto the next phase which is Chemoradiation. She will be unable to do much for at least 2 to 3 months, and the medical bills are piling up, as are her everyday expenses. We have no clue how often she will have to get chemo, we do know it will be done at Parkland. So I will drive to Waxahachie and pick Debbi up and drive to Parkland where parking is $8.00 a day. So those expenses add up as well.
I am asking those of you reading this to please donate what you can and this is very difficult to do knowing my friend has always helped anyone that needed it, I think it would be wonderful for her to receive the help she needs.
Debbi has had a very hard life, she was a ward of the state at the age of 6 and bounced around to 13 foster homes until the age of 12 when she landed in Lancaster, Texas in a foster home. From age 2 until 6 she was sexually abused by relatives, and also once a ward of the state, she was abused more. Then she moved to Lancaster and we met at the age of 12 and have been friends ever since, she was quirky and , funny and an avid reader, she still is, and we have since found out that she was so very different because she had Asbergers, which was not even diagnosed in 1972. Now my sweet friend has more on her plate, than anyone person should have.
not only does she have cancer she has a teenage special needs child, that depends on her. I will take Debbi to all her appointments and anywhere she needs me to take her. Thank you for reading a story of friendship, love and a very tough journey.
I am in awe of Debbi, because in spite of everything she has been through, she is still happy that she gets to wake up everyday. She told me she didn't understand anyone that didn't want to live to be 300 or more, because life is so amazing and beautiful.
Please help my friend and her daughter, they are truly a blessing in my life, and I want her to watch her daughter grow up and live her life. Thank you for letting me share this story of my brave, courageous, beautiful, funny, silly friend.
Love & Peace
