Celebrate the life of Diane Elaine Schoen

With deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother Diane Elaine Schoen on 6/22/22 after a long battle with cancer. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She left a legacy of love that will live on in our hearts forever. Family meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life in the future, date to be determined.

Diane enjoyed reading, watching black & white movies, playing cards, eating out, dancing to live local bands, the beach, and sweets. Over the years she enjoyed her pets, including cats, dogs, and her parakeets Blue, Daisy, and Grace. The most important thing to her was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children, Ryan M. Grothe of York, PA, Heather Schoen (Peter Guardado) of Greenbelt, MD, Jeremy Schoen of Capon Bridge, WV, and Travis J. Schoen of Margate, FL; three grandchildren, Alli Martinez-Palma, Lilly Schoen, and Paige Diane Guardado; two brothers, James H. Bloss and Ronald L. Bloss, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her aunt Sissy (Dorothy C.) Meyers of Maryland.

We are requesting donations to cover her cremation costs and her celebration of life.
