Diane Denny Hayes August 18, 1951 -April 16, 2024

Hi my name is Christopher Hayes and I am fundraising for help with the costs of my beloved mother’s cremation and memorial service. Diane Denny Hayes was a very kind, discerning person, a much loved spouse and extremely devoted to our father for over 50 years. She was unapologetically biased about her boys and loved us fiercely, as any mama bear would!

Mom died in her sleep on Tuesday April 16, 2024 unexpectedly, this has blind-sided all her family and friends. Mom was only 72 and was in reasonably good health. We all expected to enjoy more time with her, especially with her second grandchild on its way. Both of my parents are retired and live on a fixed income, that really doesn’t allow for any unforeseen expenses. My husband and I are contributing along with other family members, but we are falling short of the total costs.

My parents never wanted to overspend on a high priced funeral, so our plans are for a memorial service at her childhood church and a gathering reception for all of her beloved family and friends, in the church hall. My mother was very nostalgic about her roots and proud of all her accomplishments. We would love any help in giving her a beautiful memorial service. Thank you.
