Diane Bergman's Unexpected Death

Donation protected
We lost a very special friend Sunday,  November. 3rd.

Diane Fisher Bergman, a vivacious, bigger-than-life personality died at the age of 52 and leaves behind her husband, Greg; a son, Weston who is 13, and twin girls, Lexi and Jillian who are 10, as well as her stepdaughters, Megan, Anna, Katie and Emily with whom she was very close to and loved dearly.  She served on the board of Bridgmill Subdivision, an unpaid, mostly unappreciated position. She did it because she loved her community and believed she could make a difference. She was a long time member of the book club, “Reading Between the Wines,” and an avid tennis player who belonged to The Bridgemill Chicks, The Hot Mamas and  The Bridgemill Ladies Sunday Team. Diane also worked fulltime at iVision Managed Services IT in midtown Atlanta.

Diane spent three weeks in ICU at Emory Hospital in Atlanta before succumbing to an inflammation of the lungs that came on suddenly, following a week of on-and-off flu symptoms. This grieving family is struggling with the unexpected medical costs and funeral expenses; especially since Greg recently started a new job and now they no longer have income from Diane’s employment.

To lose your mother at such tender ages is unimaginable, and many of us who have lost spouses know the pain and heartache in store for Greg and his children over the coming years. If you can help in any way to minimize the stress the Bergman’s are under, they would be eternally grateful. Any amount, no matter how small, is so appreciated.
