Diane needs help with medical issues.
I first met Diane in 2018. She was a vibrant and confident woman. Today, she is in desperate need of financial help. She could be homeless in a matter of weeks and she needs medical attention. Texas' systems are overwhelmed.
“Never better” is what Diane would say to anyone inquiring about her life. She would not speak of the cancer she is fighting, the chemo she endures, or her anxiety or depression. She WOULD ask for prayers and donations for others in need, and always extend her help in her profession as a counselor.
Despite all odds, through great determination and faith, Diane put her life on track and was in control of her mental illness. But her chemo treatments rendered the medication for her mental instability useless. A few years ago, she moved with her husband and dog from NJ to Texas where she started a new job and a new life. Then the cancer diagnosis followed by endless treatments.
Diane is a Christian, with a capital “C”. Making friends and helping others is second nature to her. Yet none of her friends would recognize her today. Her mental condition makes her believe her husband, family and friends are all against her. Her husband has remained by her side, but has exhausted all means of getting her help, and is in financial desperation and physical exhaustion. Right now Diane is in jail for trespassing. She refused to leave an animal hospital, so the police were called.
As her friends, we are asking you to pay Diane’s good works forward. Diane lived the Golden Rule…”so in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. We all have a loved one, or know someone, who suffers from a mental disability. In their name, please help Diane and her husband get back on their feet. If you are not able to help financially, your prayers, or possibly asking someone you know who could help, would be SO very much appreciated.
