As some of you may now know, I (Diane) was diagnosed last week with Acute Leukemia. This was a shock to all of us, although I had been experiencing odd symptoms for around 3 months now, but only recently becoming more severe. Upon going to the Dr. on Monday Feb. 24, and after drawing labs, they immediately called us back and had us meet with an oncologist first thing Tues morning. He said, pack your bags, you'll be staying a month with us! "What?!" We were totally numb. But we had time to pray and seek out prayer partners and feel lifted up with many of your love and concern. Many of you have reached out to ask how can you help. We so appreciate that and here are some suggestions: * Pray that my body responds well to the aggressive treatment they have me on. I'm in a wonderful hospital with an amazing team of specialists and feel very well cared for. God is good! *Of Great concern right now is our loss of income. As you may know, I am self employed as an interpreter and currently unable to bring any income to our family. Considering the lengthy time period of treatment, I am uncertain as to when I might be able to return to work. Anything you can do to help financially would be appreciated.
