Diane and Pauls Road to Recovery.

On April 8, 2021 A careless teen driver attempted to pass another vehicle on a curve and collided head-on with Paul Chiumento and Diane Parolisi Chiumento. Paul and Diane are not only a mother and father to 4 children, but they're also a brother, sister, and grandparents of 11 grandchildren. As a result of this horrific accident, both Paul and Diane suffered major injuries. Multiple surgeries have been performed on both and many more future surgeries and rehabilitation are needed. Paul and Diane are still in the hospital. Paul has been moved to the med surge unit and is progressing. Diane is still in a coma in the ICU. While everyone's prayers have helped them to progress, and we are all so very thankful for the amount of support you have all shown, we are running into financial issues. While Paul and Diane had a good amount of insurance to cover the medical cost, the other driver only carried basic auto coverage, leaving our family to figure out how to pay for the growing medical costs. The majority of money from the insurances has been exhausted. We are asking friends, family, or anyone that has the means to help to please assist us in paying for these growing medical bills. All funds collected will go solely to the care and recovery of Paul and Diane. Any funds left over will be donated back to their church.
