My name is Diana Martin, and I’m raising funds to support a beautiful project in Northern Ireland that’s close to my heart — creating wheelchair access for a healing lounge run by my mum, using a powerful new wellness therapy called The Light System.
UPDATE: Cycle completed!
Huge congratulations to Diana, who completed her 55-mile cycle from London to Brighton in under 7 hours - battling through rain, wind, and even with a heavy cold ️.
This incredible effort wasn’t just about endurance, it was about raising funds to help us install wheelchair access at The Light System™ in Belfast, so that everyone can benefit from this healing space.
You can still support Diana’s efforts by sending a donation.
The Challenge: London to Brighton, 55 Miles
On Sunday the 14th September, I’ll be cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton to raise funds for this cause.
I’ve never done anything like this before, but I’m training hard, and I’m determined to finish strong — because this isn’t just about me. It’s about making The Light System accessible to everyone, no matter their mobility needs.
Why This Fundraiser Matters:
Earlier this year, during a break, I rented a bike for some light exercise — and something shifted. Riding gave me a sense of freedom and clarity I hadn’t felt in years. I came home, bought a bike, and started training with a renewed sense of purpose.
At the same time, I learned more about my mum’s mission to expand access to The Light System™ in Belfast — a pioneering therapy already helping people with chronic pain, trauma, and stress. The challenge now is to make it fully inclusive, with proper wheelchair access so no one is excluded from its benefits.
That’s why I decided to ride. This fundraiser isn’t just about me — it’s about supporting a vision of wellness and accessibility for everyone.
Why I Believe in The Light System
I’ve already experienced The Light System™ for myself, and it made a real impact — helping me release stress, reset my body, and feel clearer and lighter. Although I haven’t yet visited the Belfast centre — I’m still based in London — I’m excited to do so after the cycle.
My plan is to use The Light System™ as part of my recovery process, supporting physical healing, restoring energy, and bringing emotional clarity. From my own experience, I know it has the potential to help me bounce back after the challenge, and I believe it can offer the same to so many others.
How You Can Help:
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to making the lounge fully inclusive. Let’s create a space where everyone can heal — and where my mum’s vision can reach even more people in need.
We hope to see you soon — and we’re excited for what’s ahead as we continue to grow together.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and for cheering Diana on!
