HELP Diana beat Cancer AGAIN
Donation protected
For those who don't know my sister, Diana, this is a picture of her and her family from December 2015. It includes her husband Ryan and their 9 year old son Matthew. Look at that smile on her face! She was so happy because she had just received a "clean" PET scan that her Cancer was in remission. Unfortunately we just learned that the cancer is BACK for the 3rd time.
Brief History:
In May 2010, Diana was diagnosed with stage 3B invasive breast cancer. The tumor was the size of a golf ball. She chose conventional therapy as she didn't have time to do any of her own research and Matthew was only 3 years old (she was busy being a Mom). She proceeded to get 6 chemo treatments and 6 weeks of radiation therapy. After this initial treatmen, she had a double mastectomy so that she could reduce any risk of recurrence. The surgery and recovery came with many complications but she untimately returned to her old self. Thankfully she was healthy for almost 5 years. She then developed a cough in April 2015 which would not go away. After many mis-diagnoses, in June 2015, she discovered that the cancer had returned and spread to her bones, lymph nodes, and soft tissue. Once again she decided to undergo chemo believing it would save her. She had another 6 rounds of Chemo. In December 2015 , a PET scan showed she was cancer free once again. The nighmare continued as just two months later she was experiencing extreme back pain again and along with it came the cancer! A PET scan in April 2016 showed that the cancer was back again in her bones, including upper and lower spine, pelvis, breast bone, and many lymph nodes. After much research, she has come to realize that chemo will just kill her. She has now decided that natural alternative therapy is the way to go.
The only barrier is the cost. Her desired treatment is not covered by her or Ryan's insurance. This seems to be our last resort to find a treatment for her and it pains me to think that the cost would affect my sister from finally being healthy. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would mean a lot to my family and hers. Thank you for your consideration and please keep Diana in your prayers. God Bless.
