On December 29th, 2018 Diana Awad succumbed to the mental health issues that she battled with for the last several years. Sadly,regardless of her hard work and persistence, in the end, she decided to take her own life. She is undoubtedly loved and survived by her Mother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, as well as her extended family and friends.

Diana was happiest when she was with her family and friends, and took special joy in playing with the children in her life. She was fiercely loyal and would answer the call whenever she was needed. Diana's laughter was contagious and one of a kind. The strength that she exhibited while facing these challenges in her life is a testament to the depth of her love for her family and friends, and the reason as to why she fought for so long.

She left us much too soon, however, the impact she made in our lives will persevere. Her memory will be a blessing to all those who knew her and will forever live on within our hearts. 

The funds raised will be used to transport her from Tampa to her final resting place at Memorial Gardens in Ft. Lauderdale, for her burial and memorial expenses. The tentative date of the burial is for January 5th, with more details to follow.
