Diana Yupe and family

The Middle Fork community has lost a dear friend with the passing of Diana Yupe.

She was a wonderful person, and she will be missed by many.

We are raising funds to help support Diana's children and grandchildren during this time. We hope that the funds raised can help with the funeral costs, and also with whatever else is needed for the family.

Willis and some others have spoken with Juanita, Diana's daughter, and she wanted to express her love and gratitude towards our river community. She said that every time Diana would speak of the river her eyes would light up with joy, and that we were all a part of her extended family. Before she would leave each summer she say "ok kids, I'm going home!", and away she would go, off to the Middle Fork.

There will be a Service tonight at Hawker Funeral Home, in Blackfoot Idaho, at 6 pm.

The burial will take place at 2 pm this Friday, at Gibson Cemetery, also in Blackfoot.

Juanita said that we are all welcome, and that it would be an honor to have our community there in support.
