Diana Thomas get through pancreatic cancer and chemo

Hi my name is Diana I am currently having chemo for pancreatic cancer which was misdiagnosed a few years ago as a pancreatic pseudos cyst which was nine centimeters, they removed part of my pancreas in January after I was rushed into hospital three times in November with pancreatitis and I was really really poorly. I was then told that they would operate in the new year which they did . I had an 11 and a half hour operation at derriford because it wasn't possible to do such a complex operation in Cornwall and I was told on Valentine's Day that it was stage 3 pancreatic cancer. And that I needed to have a very aggressive chemo I currently go in and have six and a half hours on the first day and come out with a pump attached for another 48 hours. I then have 11 days off and then we start the whole thing over again. Because of the surgery which was 11 and a half hours to remove part of my pancreas I haven't been able to work since November and it's not looking like I'm going to begin back to work for a little while yet either due to me not having an immune system and until I finish my chemo which I'm in the midst of right now I still have another five treatments at least left and I work with vulnerable homeless adults. Financially this is taken a huge hit as I live on my own and I don't have any other help other than pip and sick pay. I have a few things that are needing to be done I have a leak in my chimney that needs investigating urgently and I currently have to have a dehumidifier running constantly. I'm also struggling to keep on top of things I could do with help with things like a cleaner and other help as well around the garden etc as I'm finding the chemo is getting harder and harder and I'm able to do less. Financially everything seems to be going up enough with regards to bills food etc I also unable to drive myself around after my chemo and during my chemo until the last few days so I have to rely on other people so I have to pay them because I live far away from the hospital around 50 miles around trip. This would really mean a lot to me if I could get some help I've put it off until now because I was hoping that I could cope and manage on my own. But what I've realised is that as this treatment goes on it gets more difficult. If you see this I would like to thank you for reading it. This is caused me a few sleepless nights to save the least which I really could do without right now.
