We are lucky to have had Diana in our lives for the past 10 years. She has a luminous spirit that brightens every family function and a knack for speaking thoughtfully and only saying something when it adds to the conversation. She is a beloved daughter, cherished friend, and animal advocate. She loves her mom and brother, her boyfriend Michael, her dogs, and her lizard, George.

 

This week, we experienced the gripping fear of having our light extinguished when Diana was involved in a serious car accident.  She has a long road to recovery ahead that will include extensive facial reconstructive surgery, jaw repair, and missing her last semester at the University of Illinois.  

With these many unknowns ahead, we want her medical bills, vehicle replacement, and missed tuition to be the last things on her mind. She is a promising young woman on the precipice of the rest of her life who deserves the least amount of disruption from this catastrophic event.
