The process of making indie films can be expensive and your donations help this film come to life. As a first time filmmaker, the grant world is hard to grasp if you don't have any previous films under your belt. A million thank you's for your donations and support.

About the Director:
Cheverny Baluca is an actor, writer and emerging director. A graduate of TMU's RTA Media Production program, she blends technical skill with storytelling rooted in lived truths. Her debut short DIANA, based on personal experience, captures the quiet weight of anxiety, even when everything appears fine. The film aims to draw viewers into Diana's internal world, offering a vivid emotional perspective. Grounded by her acting roots, Cheverny gravitates towards stories that begin in the familiar and build toward something specific, urgent and real.

Synopsis
Diana appears calm—controlled, even. But when a pharmacy delay leaves her without the anxiety medication she depends on, the facade begins to crack. At a seemingly normal house party, surrounded by friends and small talk, Diana fights to stay present as the walls close in. What starts as mild discomfort escalates into a silent unraveling, culminating in a panic attack that’s been lurking just beneath the surface. Diana is a slow-burning psychological portrait that tiptoes into thriller territory, revealing how terrifying it can be when your own mind turns against you.
