Hi, my name is Raissa and I am raising funds for the medical bill of my only sister.

She’s a 43yrs old licensed teacher. She is single but she’s like a mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She took care of them, including my 2 daughters, when they were younger. They all call her Tita/Tata D and would always run to her first for cuddles. It’s because of the love that she has showered to them.

Sadly, last September 2025, she has told the family about a lump that has gotten worse. It was a day before her licensure exam and so she was hesitant to take the exam. But after some enlightenment and persuasion, she still took the examination despite being on her lowest.

Then she had biopsy a week after and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer of the Breast on October 2025. She started her chemotherapy session right after. Our whole family was devastated, but we are hopeful and optimistic that she will get better.

December 2025, her licensure exam result came out and she’s passed it. We’re very proud of her. I saw hope in her eyes—willingness to get better to practice her profession.

Now, she has bravely battled the big C and underwent 6 IV chemotherapy sessions and 2 weeks of oral chemo. The lump has significantly decreased in size and so she is for surgical removal of the lump as per her doctor’s advice.

I would like to ask for your help financially to fund for her surgical procedure and hospital bills postoperatively. Any amount will help her be closer to being cancer-free and be closer to achieving her dream of practicing her profession. Even a small donation can make a big difference in her journey.
