Diana and Hailey Quezada Car Accident

Hello, my name is Mireya,

I’m starting this GoFundMe page to help my sister Diana and her family. Diana is my older sister and Hailey is my 15 yr. old niece/goddaughter. They were both involved in a tragic head-on, rollover car accident in March of this year 2022. Since then, their life’s changed tremendously. My brother-in-law Chino and younger niece Maya were also very affected by this accident as it was a shock to find out what had happened to both of them. They were hit by a drunk driver who was driving a construction company truck at a high speed! This accident caused my sister severe head trauma along with prolonged health conditions and my niece had to get elbow and eye surgery. My niece will also need to get a second eye surgery in January. AND of course, the drunk driver only had minor injuries!

My brother-in-law Chino had to take a lot of time off of work this year to be there for both my sister and niece, which has taken a toll on them financially. During this time of year, my brother-in-law is usually unemployed for a few months because of the weather conditions in Chicago. His job is outdoors and with the snow and temperatures in Chicago he is unable to work doing his normal job, but he goes out to help his neighborhood with plowing snow to compensate for him being off work. However, he recently got surgery on December 19th and will be in recovery for 6 weeks.

This year has been extremely hard on them and this winter will be even harder with my brother-in-law being in recovery and my sister not being able to work, which is why I'm asking for your help in any way possible... whether it's by donating, sharing their story and lots of prayers for their recovery, since they still have a long road to recovery.

My family and I are so blessed to still have them both here with us.
