My name is Diamond Sparks, age 16, and a student at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, specializing in music/voice. I've been singing since I was five years old and I've been a student of voice for more than five years and now studying under the tutelage of Laura Doss.
My first voice teacher, Ms. Ruth Randall nominated me for the Honors Performance Series Choir wher eI was chosen as a finalist to sing at The Sidney Opera House in Sydney, Australia. This performance series will be held July 7-12, 2017, departing Birmingham, July 5th and returning July 14th.
I am soliciting your prayers for me as I endeavor to make a dream come true. Please pray that I recieve the contributions needed, for safe travels and kind and loving hearts among the people I will meet and have contact with. I am trusting God in this effort and hope that you will be able to help.
This trip will cost $6,000.00 for travel, living arragments and food. I live with my Grandmother, Mary Willis due to the death of my father in 2010, and my mother last year. Would you please consider making a donation of $50, $100 or more but any amount you give will be very appreciated.
