Terri Janes Pulmonary Fund

On December 5, 2019 Terri Janes aka Diamond Rio felt short of breath with a racing heart while Christmas shopping with her son.

She has suffered from pneumonia in past years and was diagnosed with asthma.  She was sent home from the hospital with oxygen as a temporary treatment.  As the days went on, she became more dependent on the oxygen with little relief.

On New Year's Eve she was back at the hospital and diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.   Pulmonary fibrosis is a lung disease that occurs when lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred. This thickened, stiff tissue makes it more difficult for your lungs to work properly.  As pulmonary fibrosis worsens, you become progressively more short of breath.

Terri is from Idaho but has been transferred 6 hours away from her home to Salt Lake where she will undergo further testing and ultimately receive a double lung transplant.  Her husband and daughter are doing all they can to be with her around the clock.

We are asking for your help for medical expenses, travel and lodging for her and the family.  Additional fundraising efforts are underway by her Cowboy Fast Draw family.
