Hello, my name is Stuart Swanberg. I am high school math teacher and a retired pastor. I have a wife and four kids. I am on the edge of stage 5 polycystic kidney disease and having to go on kidney dialysis and the kidney transplant list. I have insurance, but will have to pay for the initial $4,000 plus 20% after that. We make less than $40,000 a year on my teacher's salary, so this will be a big financial burden. I am getting the catheter installed soon. Then the home dialysis will begin two weeks after the catheter is installed. There will be a monthly supply of fluid bags and medical supplies that will come. And i will be seeing the doctor every other week. The "Personal Time Off" allowance from work will be quickly gone. I am very thankful for modern medicine, however it is expensive. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
