Hello! We are Diagnostic Trouble Code, a new international theatre company creating bold, political and playful ensemble performances. Our work aims to diagnose the troubles of society and incite dialogue and reflection on today's urgent questions. Our collective brings together performers and theatre makers from all over the world, including Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, France, Taiwan, the Netherlands, USA and UK. Our process places intercultural exchange at its core, combining the wide ranging artistic and cultural knowledge of each member to create work that resonates across borders and brings our audiences closer together.
But to continue to do this, we need your help!
We formed as an ensemble in April 2025 to make our first show The Terribly Credible Definitely Edible Tale of the Town of Cropshire. The show debuted at the ATP Format Festival in September and went on to be performed at Camden People's Theatre as past of their Test Match scheme.
We would like to keep developing our show and would love for even more people to see it, our main ambition being to take it to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Summer 2026. Unfortunately, the cost of a Fringe venue, accommodation and travel for eight young creatives (however willing they are to squeeze into a 3 bed flat... or a tent...) increases year on year and funding opportunities are more limited than ever.
We are already busy writing applications and planning events to fundraise for the future of DTC. Any donation you could spare for us now, no matter how small, would help us massively in taking our first steps as a company. We would be eternally grateful!
But more than anything, we would love it if you could take to socials, to the dance floor, to the book club to spread the word about us and our show.
Thank you so so much for your support.
DTC xx
