Help with Lyme test costs

This is one of my favorite photos of myself. I had climbed Ben A'an in Scotland and was exhilarated by the view and that final steep trek to the top and I can still feel the joy when I remember that moment! And sadly, I haven't been able to do any hiking recently. As many of you know, I have been struggling with profound fatigue, weak health and other odd symptoms over the past 5+ years.  I have drained my savings to undergo numerous tests and have visited several different medical practitioners and have yet to find the reason for my fatigue, which has been very difficult on me financially and emotionally. And I also underwent a surgery where my heart actually stopped (!!!), so the surgery couldn't proceed and I had to have it done a second time (successfully) after I healed from the first attempt! It’s been difficult to navigate my life through all of this with health issues that hinder my ability to work consistently, but I continue to do all I can to find a solution. 

This week I saw an expert in Lyme disease and she recommends a test through a company called IGeneX that will hopefully expose the root of the problem and start me on the road to recovery. Sounds great, right? The not-so-great part is that the test costs over $1700--and is not covered by my insurance! Yikes! So I am here, asking you, my friends and family, for whatever you can do to help me pay for this test and cover the costs of my next couple of doctor visits. This would also cover some of any possible treatment costs.  I'd like to be able to get this test done in the next two weeks. And every bit helps!
