Update: Tango had a secondary terrible infection which required a 24-hour stay at the emergency doggie hospital. The lymphoma seems to be responding terrific on the chemo and we're hoping with another dose he'll start to go into remission for a bit. Unfortunately the amount of care that he's required so far we've used the $3, 000 original amount of the GoFundMe. I've increased the amount to $4,000 considering his treatments are going to be about $300 every 3 weeks for 6 months. Please share.
Original post:
Our gentle giant has bad blood levels and enlarged spleen and liver which point towards cancer. We have spent $1200 in the last 24 hours on diagnostic tests and plan to see an oncologist for atleast a definite diagnosis. Our baby is only 5 and we had hopes of spending summers at the lake and watching him play with the boys all summer. Without a true diagnosis and speaking to the oncologist we won't know if his quality of life will enable this for us with our without treatment.
We don't want to give up our hope. And I cannot imagine giving him up early because we didn't have enough money to even know our options.
Any little bit helps and God Bless You! I was torn on writing this but you can't receive help if you don't ask.
