My name is RF Heynis. On April 9, 2019, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which is a particularly aggressive form of bone cancer. My treatment has been just as aggressive, and my oncologist is optimistic. But I have been out of work for a couple of months now, and my application for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is taking forever. It may be up to a year before I can work again.
I want to stress that, at this time, I don't need the money for medical expenses, as my insurance is paying for everything so far. But I live alone with only my dog Jack (that's him in the photo above). I have no friends or family in town, no one to turn to for help, and a three bedroom house to maintain.
I don't need a lot, but I'm desperate. Please, help me in any way you can. Thank you!
