I never thought I would be in a position where I have to ask for help like this, but I do not have any other options right now.

I was recently diagnosed with a sizable brain tumor (likely a vestibular schwannoma, wont know until i get the proper MRI) and everything has spiraled since then. I lost my insurance shortly after being diagnosed, and I have been trying to figure all of this out completely on my own.

On top of that, my doctor ordered the wrong MRI. The radiologist specifically recommended an MRI with contrast, but I was sent for one without contrast. That means I now have to do it again just to get the correct imaging.

Right now I am:

Paying for an MRI that did not even meet medical recommendations

Being told I need another MRI that costs over $1,400 upfront

Trying to find a specialist with no insurance and no real guidance

I have been calling hospitals, applying for assistance programs, and trying to fix the billing mistake, but everything takes time and I do not have much of that.

I am doing everything I can to stay on top of this, but I cannot do it alone anymore.
