Help Diagnose and save Luna's life

Hello everyone. Kiara and Alexander here. We are raising money on behalf of our fur baby Luna (short for Lunatic - she's crazy in the best way). We found Luna hungry, matted, and scared in the Summer of 2020.

The craziest part of it all was that the world was at a complete standstill with COVID, but as fate would have it... we happen to head to work as a party of 2 that week. Not one lost sign or post regarding this little bean. She was very scared at first but as soon as she was lured in with water and a sandwich and picked up by her soon-to-be Dad...she rolled over for some belly rubs.
She has only known love, dog ice cream, cuddles, treats, and the best "Walkie-walks" ever since. She has two dog siblings and two cat siblings which she absolutely adores (I told you she's the sweetest). She's estimated to be about 5-7 years old, has beautiful brown eyes, and loves like no other. Though she doesn't like other dogs much, she does love her siblings and cousins. She loves to swim, eat and chase squirrels. She knows the Starbucks drive-through and loves car rides - especially windy ones with the windows down. She's also a great dancer and loves to be silly - we call her our goat.

In the last week, Luna has exhibited very strange behavior. She has become more and more lethargic, not eating or playing :( She is usually the light of the room. At first, it was thought to be just an off day or two but has progressively become worse. The day of the first vet visit she barely would eat - let alone want to walk and her gums were very very pale. Her blood was taken at the visit to be tested - it was almost as liquid as water. She was rushed to a nearby emergency vet.

Her RBCs, WBCs, and Platelets were found to be extremely low with no idea why. She has received multiple blood transfusions in attempts to keep her stable and has been under the care of an emergency 24-hour vet hospital. Her morale has slightly improved but her body is becoming oh-so tired. Little to no appetite and she has just developed some fluid in her abdomen. After tons of testing, there is still no answer. No masses, no organs failing, and no parasites - no culprits have been found.

We are working to continuously get her the care she needs and the tests in order to solve what is wrong with her. She is the sweetest thing and does not deserve to be going through this. Her case is a tough one and we are doing our best to keep hope + healing energy.
As you can imagine, this around-the-clock care, blood tests, x-rays, parasite tests, ultrasounds, blood transfusions, etc. has been very costly. Thankfully her aunt Monique suggested pet insurance long ago and so she is partially covered. However, the care has just passed 20K still leaving a hefty out-of-pocket bill, one that is expected to continue to increase. She is undergoing a CT and bone marrow aspiration today - depending on the results she will either need to continue with further testing or hopefully further care to bring her back to health. We are praying for a miracle - all we want is for her to not suffer and to be better.
this angel baby wants to LIVE. She has so much more life to enjoy. She's fighting - please keep her in your prayers. Her team of techs and doctors are doing all they can and more. We've referred her results to other vets around the area - if you have a similar experience or have those experienced that can take a look please let us know. We are happy to share all her test results.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, share, and/or donate. She is our baby and we want to do everything in the world to save her.
All our love,
our tiny zoo
