Hello. My name is Rareș Andrei Olteanu and I am 7 years old. I was diagnosed with type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes at the age of 1 year and 7 months. My mom is raising me alone. My dad helps too, even though they chose different paths in life.

My mom is my personal assistant, so she is always by my side. She cannot have another income because she must take care of me. Diabetes is not our main obstacle in life. I also need cognitive behavioral therapy (ABA). I have some traits from the autism spectrum, and my mom deeply wants to help me understand the world and become independent.

The doctor recommended at least 10 therapy sessions per week, but my mom doesn’t have enough money for them. She earns about £ 516 per month (≈ 3000 lei). A session costs £ 34 (≈ 200 lei). That is far beyond what she can afford.

I thought of helping her too, and since I cannot go to work, I want to show her that I have friends all around the world who want to support me. That is why I thank you all in advance.

Buna. Numele meu este Olteanu Rareș Andrei si am 7ani . Am fost diagnosticat cu diabet tip 1 insulino dependent la varsta de 1 an si 7 luni. Mami ma crește singura. Ma ajuta si tati, desi au ales drumuri separate in viata. Mama este asistentul meu personal, deci este mereu in preajma mea. Nu poate avea alt venit, trebuie sa aibe grija de mine. Diabetul nu este principalul nostru obstacol in viata. Eu am nevoie de terapie cognitiv comportamentala ( ABBA ) . Am câteva elemente din spectrul autist si mami isi dorește din tot sufletul sa ma ajute să înțeleg lumea si sa fiu independent. Doamna doctor mi-a recomandat minim 10 ședințe pe săptămână, dar mami nu are suficienti bani pentru aceste sedinte. Mami câștigă aproximativ 3000lei lunar. O ședință pentru mine costa 200lei. Deci esti cu mult peste ce poate mami sa ofere. M-am gandit sa o ajut si eu si pentru ca nu pot merge la munca, vreau sa ii arat ca am prieteni in toata lumea care vor sa ma ajute.
