My Disabled and Bedridden Daughter, Rozana
Donation protected
Rozana was born during November 1st 2017, she was a healthy baby but unfortunately contracted Meningitis at 2 months old. After miraculously surviving Rozanas developed Hydrocephalus and had a shunt installed. As a result two issues have stemmed from this. One is that she has been getting Seizures and has to take 3 different types of seizure medication. Second being she is physically and mentally behind. Even at 8 years old, soon to be 9, she acts as if she's a baby. Unable to talk or walk or do anything an 8 year old should be experiencing. She has been in and out of CHEO basically her entire life. A new issue always appearing.
2 years ago, we unfortunately were homeless and the government placed us into a hotel as there was an overflow in shelter space. We were placed at a Travelodge in Carling Avenue, Ottawa. Our room was filled with Mice and Rozana developed breathing problems and eventually had her lungs damaged. She was close to death but fortunately enough CHEO had saved her and we were moved to a much better hotel soon after.
Unfortunately her lungs were still damaged, and she had to have a g-tube installed as the food she would eat would go straight to her lungs.
As of recent she's had lots of CHEO visits, and I am struggling to support Rozana and her siblings as a single mother because of it. Funding is low and slow, we are barely scraping by every month with only 2k a month via the government. A large portion of that money going towards necessities such as diapers, special milk and water, and other needs that assist my daughter.
My daughter Rozana needs as much help as possible to survive, as if things keep going this way, we just wont have enough money to support her.
Any type of donation made towards her medical services, whether it be a dollar or more would be greatly appreciated! May the Lord bless you forever.
Thank you all for your love and concern.
