This fund has been created for our sister Diane Kathleen. The only goal of this is to simply support her and to ease her mind a bit, if that's possible. Diane has Multiple Myeloma and faces a Stem Cell Transplant in the coming weeks. She will be at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, in Buffalo, NY.
You may or may not know her, her battle, or anything about what she has already endured. Right now she is in a new fight, but if you ask her how she's doing she'll say, "I'M FINE".
Diane's medical history is long and complicated, which makes her a unique patient for her specialists. Diane is having a Stem Cell Transplant this fall 2020, Oct/Nov. The term Transplant is not new to Diane, as she has been blessed with 2 organ donor transplants. A kidney in 2017 and pancreas in 2018. Those blessings are going to take a hit during the Stem Cell Transplant process and we are praying they hang on for the long haul.
Diane drives herself to almost every single doctor's appt, chemo treatment, transfusion and hospital stay. Medical treatments that would make anyone cringe are Diane's normal. She is a FIGHTER in every sense of the word and a great mother to THE AMAZING LUKE! She is a warrior all on her own but also receives amazing support from her parents, fiancé Jim and a huge circle of friends.
