Medical Supplies for Ukraine
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
As some of you know, I spent a few months last year in Kyiv. While it’s later than I planned, I’m happy to say I will be going back from March 28th to April 8th.
For all the headlines recently, what Ukraine needs is what it has needed since it was first invaded by Russia. Although its allies and former allies have supplied armaments, in terms of medical equipment Ukraine has been largely left to fend for itself and relies a great deal on donations.
I plan to fill my baggage with hemostatic gauze, compression tourniquets, and other small items used in Individual First Aid Kits. During my last trip I was lucky to meet a charity called the ‘The Traveling Colonels,’ who will bring the supplies where they are needed.
Though not much, I thought it may be worth starting a small fundraiser. I will bring these supplies with me regardless, though if you'd like to chip in a pound or two for more, I'll be happy to carry it. (Please, just a few £ at most).
Thanks, дякую, everyone.
(I’m far from an expert. If anyone can recommend good quality brands for IFAKS that’d be appreciated).
