Hi, my name is Marcin and im fundraising for necessary equipment needed in my future life.

On lovely summer day 19th of July 2025 when I was off work I went for a bicycle ride on my usual cycle route around Chester area. I've cycled good few hours, it was a nice, sunny day and I was heading back home to have a dinner.

Unfortunately around a 1 mile away from home I was hitted by a car taking me over. Driver didn't even stopped, ive immediately lost a conscious and few days later woke up in hospital in Liverpool. That day another random driver who called an ambulance and then 10 hours surgery have saved my life.

I've broke my spine cord and fractured c6/c7 of my spine. Since then im still in hospital, paralized and I will end up in wheelchair to the rest of my days.

After a month from Liverpool Walton centre hospital I was moved to Countess of Chester ICU where I've been on ventilation over 4 months. When ventilation was taken off I went to Southport Spinal Injuries ward where im still in. Having my rehabilitation here.

Since July last year im not getting any incomes, ive nearly spend all of my savings and also I am not expecting and compensation because police weren't involved in my accident.

I've decided to raise some funds here mainly for a power chair I will need in my daily life, also a design bed, hoist and to make some changes at home.
