Hello there, my name is jasmine and I’m currently trying to raise any funds possible to help my mom with payments for her brain surgery and her journey to recovery.
In the past two weeks her health has declined drastically due to a brain lesion she has on the left side of her head. Doctors are encouraging her to get the mass removed in hopes it will help solve the issues she currently having with speech impairment, weakening of her right arm and leg as-well as all the neurological issues caused by the pressure applied to her brain by the mass.
She is set to get surgery in Pasadena tomorrow 2/15/2024.
It would mean the world to me to be able to provide some ease to my mom during these difficult times.
My mom has been in remission from breast cancer since 2023 and is willing to continue fighting.
UPDATE:2/17/24
Unfortunately my mom’s tumor ended up being a result of breast cancer that spread to her brain.
We unfortunately have not much else to work with until the full biopsy results are given and we can figure out what our next steps are.
My mom will need extensive care moving forward since recovery can take months.
My mom is no longer able to work, drive or live in her own. Which means my siblings and I will have to figure out a schedule around our work, school and personal life to make sure my mom gets the best care possible.
Medicare only covers 20 days of a skilled nursing facility, so anything we can raise will help with
Medical bills
Living assistance
Medicine
And anything else my mom needs.
We hope that she can recover from this and thank you all for your kindness.

I would like to take the time to thank everyone who’s been so supportive of my family since the beginning of all this. My mother is in good spirits and my family is taking everything day by day. On April 11th my mother and my family received the news that my mother’s cancer has spread. Her cancer which originally started in the breast and lymph nodes and unfortunately has spread to the brain, neck, bones and liver. My mom will begin three sessions of brain radiotherapy beginning april 22nd, and because the cancer has spread, we are still figuring out what my mom wishes to do with the time being. We are uncertain how long my mother has, we are uncertain if she can get better, and as we wait, we can only do our best to give my mother the best years she has left. Thank you for all the generosity and love during these times. Will update as we find out more.
