Please Help. Thank You.
Hi my name is Michael Swinehart I am a software engineer, I used to write automation code for Nationide Insurance in Des Moines, Iowa. I went out on Disability last year to have back surgery. I had the surgery and it was very successful. I stayed off work for a total of 5 months, I then returned to work and for a couple days, unfortunately I woke up on the third day very sick and could not get out of bed. My wife called 911 and I was taken to the hospital where they found that I had a very large hole in my large intestine. I was rushed into emergency surgery, I was beginning to recover when something went drastically wrong and had to be rushed into a second emergency surgery. Over the course of the following three weeks I was in a coma battling for my life. Obviously I made it and I am on the mend. I have had an additional surgery and will still need to have two more. I went into Nationwide in July of 2015 and my manager(who didn't even have the common decency to tell me herself) gave me the phone number of a office of personnel management employee. I called her when I returned home only to find out that Nationwide Insurance was firing me for being sick too long. Now I understand that this can happen, but I had just given 50-70 hours a week to this company for 6 years and I thought maybe that they would show me some support. I really hate asking for help but I have amassed a huge pile of medical bills in the meantime and I still can't go back to work. If I don't figure out something soon I might lose my home. I appreciate any help and support you can give. My campaign is to cover my insurance deductible for 2015. My wife, Daughter and IThank you from the bottom of our hearts and may God bless you.
