Bring Wade Home

Friends, family and loved ones, I humbly reach out to you on behalf of my sister Noemy and her husband, my brother in law, Wade Barnes. An avid fisher and outdoor enthusiast, Wade enjoys spending his free time on the river appreciating nature’s beauty. As he once told me, his favorite place in the world is on the river, amongst the trees and God’s creation. On November 7, 2019, Wade went kayaking at Peachtree Landing in South Carolina just as he’d done dozens of times. Regrettably, Wade has not been heard from or seen since Thursday afternoon. We are now entering day 7 of his disappearance and we continue our search with faithful hearts and a positive mind. We are so incredibly thankful to the teams and volunteers who are searching and for those who are praying for his safe return. We will do all that we can, reach out to every resource and exhaust all options until Wade is found. With the unexpected costs of hiring a diving team as well as additional resources to find Wade, I ask from the bottom of my heart for your help in our search and efforts to bring him home. We will not stop searching and have complete faith that God will guide us in finding Wade. Thank you so much for your prayers, for your positive thoughts and for the love you have shown.
