I am raising money to assist with getting Eli an attorney to bring him back home. He has been detained without any possibility of bail/bond with undoubtedly invalid reasons. He was detained by law enforcement who denied him any of his constitutional rights. Unfortunately the only way we will be able to bring him home is with an attorney representing him.
Elijah was headed up to SEMA on the 6th, and ended up getting pulled over. Law enforcement nded up informing him that he had a warrant in New Mexico. So he was detained in Las Vegas. He had court on the 12th, And they told him that he would have to be extradited to New Mexico but was not given any timeframe. For now hes sitting in Las Vegas waiting. I've reached out to Multiple attorneys and right now im currently raising money to initiate the attorney I want to represent him. The warrant is for fraud. He got his pay check from the trucking company he worked for last year and ended up electronically cashing it and the check did not automatically deposit, so he ended up going to a local grocery store to physically cash it and it returned. Which is what gave the local grocery store a reason to file a complaint thus resulting in a warrant. We have no timeline on when we can bring him home.
