Help Barb Recover from Her Accident
Donation protected
On December 31, our friend Barb struck a tree in a snowmobile accident and sustained severe facial injuries. She was taken immediately to a hospital where they were able to repair lacerations, but she has had to wait for the swelling to subside before further treatment could begin.
If you know Barb, you know she is the kind of person who always shows up. She is there for her friends to listen or lend a hand and now, when she needs it most, it’s our turn to show up for her.
The road ahead may be a bit bumpy. She was only in her position as instructor at Sky Lakes Hospital in Klamath Falls for a few weeks before the accident. She will need three surgeries at OHSU in Portland—two to repair the function of her nose and one to repair her eye. She will have medical, travel and lodging expenses.
Please, if you can, donate to help Barb during this next transition of treatment and healing. Every single donation—no matter the size—will help her take the next steps forward. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful. Let’s remind Barb that she is cherished by her friends and not alone in this healing journey. Let’s surround her with the same love and generosity that she has given to others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
