Supporting Rob

Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to hear our dad’s story!
Our dad, Robby John Budde, is in desperate need of your kindness. Even if you cannot donate, we hope you will pray for him.
Rob is the kind of person who has worked hard for everything he has. When he was a boy, he worked hard on his family farm. He moved out when he was just 18 years old to start his own life. He struggled, but he made it work. Rob continued to work hard over the years to provide for the family he loves. He had been working in the same building as an automotive technician for 31+ years to provide for us, to give us a great life.
However, in May of this year, Rob went in for a surgery of the stomach and small intestine. He had ulcers and scar tissue that needed to be removed. The surgeon went in, did his thing and we thought Rob would finally be back on his feet in a few weeks.
While he was resting in the hospital after surgery, Rob had a heart attack that’s referred to as the “widow maker”. He left us for 16 minutes. Those 16 minutes felt like hours. Thanks to the Lord, they were able to bring him back to us.
They discovered he had blockage in his heart, but the cardiologist was unconvinced that the blockage caused the heart attack. He believed it was stressed induced. Stress of the surgery, the medical bills, not being able to work for who knew how long.
After a couple of weeks, he was finally released and sent home. We thought he was on his way to recovery, and we were beyond thankful to God for keeping our dad safe.
Unfortunately, for 2 ½ months, he struggled in pain, not getting better, only worse. Rob lost almost 50 lbs., dealt with intense nausea, stomach pain and many more symptoms.
Turns out, the first surgery didn’t go as planned and he had to go back in for another surgery. This surgery wasn’t as invasive, but it was riskier due to his heart attack.
Rob and his family were terrified. Praying and hoping that he would make it through the surgery. Thankfully he did, and we are beyond thankful to have him with us today.
Unfortunately, with everything he has had to endure in the last 3 months, he has not been able to get back to work resulting in him losing his job he’s had for 31+ years. He lost all his savings, and he desperately needs your kindness.
We know that our dad, Rob, is only one of millions of people who are struggling. But we ask for any donation or prayer you may be able to give. We want to thank you for whatever it is you are able to do, and we hope that we can pay it forward someday.
Thank you!
