Cancer Treatments

HI, I am a stage 4 breast cancer patient.  I have had this disease since 2004.  I was told then that I had only 2 years to live.  Since then I have had the traditional treatments but lately, since 2012, I have chosen to do integrative/alternative treatments.  The treatments are meant to boost your immune system and expose the cancer cells so the body can do its natural thing, which is killing off the bad cells.  Of course, since these treatments are not considered "traditional", even though they work, insurance refuses to pay for any of them.  So far to pay for my treatments, I have gone into alot of debt but also have been blessed with donations from many many poepple.  You would be surprised what a $10 or $20 donation will do.
In the years since my diagnosis, I have been able to enjoy seeing both my children graduate college, get married to wonderful spouses and be a grandmother (a.k.a Boom Boom) to 2 beautiful granddaughters.  I have seen my sister get married and have enjoyed reconnecting with her and her family and have also seen my mother remarry after losing my father to multiple myloema in 1995, just 6 months after he and I were diagnosed with cancer.
I have been able to share in the care of my mini schnauzers who love me very much and stay by my side when I am not feeling well.
