Remembering Maria

Maria passed away on 14th October after a year long battle with cancer. Maria wanted to keep her ill health private to try and keep some semblance of normality. Always thinking of others. She was brave and dignified to the very end.

Maria’s health meant that she was unable to work for the last year of her life and Cenk had to give up his own job to care for Maria and be there for Iris.

As the Executor of her Will I promised Maria to help Cenk and Iris when she no longer could. I would be failing in my promise if I didn’t ask her family and closest friends if they would like to donate to a fund in her memory to help support Iris while Cenk gets back to work. Even the smallest amount would help …she had a lot of people who loved her .
