Hello to anyone who may read this. My name is Seqouria Hickman. Most of you know me as Seqouria Dean. I'm starting this GoFundMe account to help out my stepfather.

In March of 2023, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and was terminally ill. On February 16th, she lost her battle to cancer and went home to the Lord. My mom is finally at rest and isn't in pain anymore. I know she is up there in the sky sipping on her margaritas and hanging out with her parents. We knew the day was coming, but we just didn't know when. Death is a natural thing, but when they are gone, it's the hardest part. I wasn't going to start this, but my sister Joey and I decided that maybe some of the kind-hearted people in the world can help us out. Upon my mother's passing, she didn't want any type of service or anything. Her wishes were to be cremated and brought back home. Upon learning that life insurance didn't kick in for my mother, we must now come up with the money out of pocket to get her cremated and brought home. My mother was a loving and caring woman and would give the shirt off her own back to help someone out if she could. And I hope that anyone anywhere would do the same. Anything you guys can do to help is much appreciated. Everything earned will go to help get my mother cremated and bring her home so she is with her family.
