Hello My name is Brooke and my dog's name is Maximus, Max, Maxy... ❤️ Max has been my emotional support dog since he came into my life in 2012. Before I got Max, my life was pretty messed up. At the time I got Max, I was in rehab and had recently tried to commit suicide. I got Max as a way to help me through my recovery. He was there for me while I stayed in a physically abusive relationship and started a new life with me when we moved away from all of that in 2017. Max is my emotional support dog as I have severe anxiety and panic attacks. I also suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder and he is trained to help me during manic episodes. As you can see, Max plays a huge part in my life and has since the day we met. He now has lung cancer and needs to have surgery to remove a part of his lung and also his dew claw (which has a growth on it as well). I haven't been able to work at my second job to help save for his surgery as I am currently bedridden with a herniated disc causing severe sciatica. So I'm asking for help... In a way I've never done before but a girlfriend of mine recommended I do something like this. Anything helps. ❤️
