Bre (Zombre) Jackson is my wife's youngest daughter, Bre is 23 years old and just diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 23. Bre has done everything right in her life and is just a few months from graduating from Oklahoma State University, the first of her 3 sisters to succeed at this milestone in her life. She is the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met and would give the shirt off her back for a stranger or a friend. She is going to be a successful, young Entrepreneur when she graduates college and beats this disease.
We can ask why cancer attacks people, young and old but it won't give us an answer, or at least one we are willing to accept, it certainly is not her lifestyle that caused this. She has years of life ahead of her and with your help, our Breezy Girl will have a fighting chance to not be so in debt due to this cancer as she starts her post college life. She has medical insurance, but as we know, insurance doesn't cover everything, she will have tremendous out of pocket costs and will certainly miss time from work that she will not be paid for. My goal is to take some of that financial burden off her shoulders so she can focus on beating this thing and not have to worry so much about financial issues that are sure to arise from her treatment.
Any funds raised will help Bre offset the tremendous amount of expenses she is about to face while fighting this disease and any help you give will be sincerely appreciated. We want everyone to know, we are not asking you to break the bank to help her, maybe just to skip a coffee or two or bring your lunch to work one day instead of eating out, any help will certainly help and we can not begin to show our gratitude or what this will mean to Bre, and perhaps, put a smile on her face in such trying times. Thank you all for taking the time to read her story and putting a smile on her face.
If you are local and friends of Bre in her hometown, I gave her a pack of 200 wristbands to give away to whomever she likes, I had to sto the shipping of the wristbands because it cost almost $3 to ship per person and I feel that her mother and I would rather send her money to help her directly. I sincerely apologize to those that donated and though just a handful of people, if you still want one I woud be happy to send them to you or if you are local with Bre ask her for one. My intent was to reward others for their support and do not wish to decieve anyone on the promise of the wristband for donation. send me a message on here if you are one that did not receive one and wish to have me mail you one. None of the money raised in her campaign was used for the wristbands or shipping because she needs all the support we can give her and I did not want it coming out of your kind donations. I will match it to the donation list and be sure to get it out for you.
