Hello, My name is Rob Gibbs. I have had some liver trouble for many years, and it had gotten worse early in 2025 to a point that I could no longer work.

That has STARTED to change, because as of July 1st, 2025 I am the Blessed and PROUD recipient of a donor Liver, from a person who lost their life due to health reasons. I got a SECOND chance at a GREAT life!! I have had some bumps in the road since the transplant, but overall my liver numbers are getting better, and the 'bumps' are more from infections and normal problems associated with surgery this major.

In total I have (as of today September 6th) had 4 surgeries. The first 2 were from the actual transplant and infection (the next day) that needed to be delt with.

The 2 since were partly because I was sent to an IN HOUSE REHAB at the hospital which had me doing exercises which led to my opening up my incision and tearing away muscle, which created a need for surgery ASAP.

All of this has created a hardship for my family, partly due to the fact I planned to be out of work for a short (maybe 2-3 months) and find I have already been out for 4 months, and counting, which will result in a total of more than 6 months, and a great loss of family income, not to mention the mental stress to me and my family. Money is never the solution, but, when you dont have enough to pay your bills, it makes life very difficult.

Funds sent here will be used to assist my family stay above water, and continue to reduce stress on all of us, while I recover.

That is why I am here. If you are in a position where you could help me and my family as we are very thankful for my health (getting better all the time) and the fact that I am home. Over the past few months, including the past few weeks, I have spent more time IN the hospital than home, but am trying to push myself to get better and do more!!!!
