It is with a heavy heart that I write this today to ask for help to pay for my little brother’s funeral. 

My brother, Ja’Quon (JQ) Shane Hosein Madaris, just 16 years old, tragically passed away while fishing—an activity that he loved and used as content for  his YouTube channel. He was full of life, dreams, and aspirations, all of which were cut short in a moment of unforeseen tragedy. 

We anticipate expenses for his funeral to be $20-30K. This includes a space in the mausoleum next to his grandmother and niece, who died at 9 just 6 months ago. 

Our community has gone above and beyond in the past to support myself and my family and I humbly come to you again and ask for your generosity so that we can put him to rest.
