On August 29th, all of Jessica and Jacob Black's belongings burst into flames in their Traverse 3 hours in to their road trip across the country. Luckily, Jacob is alive and safe, and Jessica was at her mother's with their three little girls.
Their car is ruined, and more than half of their belongings were destroyed in the uncontrollable flames seen to be at least 20ft high.
Jessica and Jacob need the help of friends and family to completely start over. Their clothes, appliances, tools, children's toys and books, everything that they owned is gone.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Jessica and Jacob, you'd know that they are some of the most selfless, kind, and genuine people out there. Anyone who knows them is an instant friend and has experienced the love and comfort shown by them.
This fund was created to help them get a head start on being forced to start over and to provide basic needs while they build their belongings back up.
If you're wanting to help but would prefer to donate in other ways, please email me. venmo: emilyloderup (please specify that this is a donation)
