Hi my name is Chelsey Bartlett and I started this go fund me to help my daughters best friends family. On June 1st around 2:00AM, my daughter’s best friend, Eva Vazquez, and her family lost their home to a fire. Many of you have seen me post Eva with the caption “MINE” because I view her as another daughter. While we are forever grateful that Eva and her family are all safe, they did lose many of their belongings. What’s remaining of the house is boarded up and they are not allowed to enter it. Eva’s father is a single parent and works long hours to give her and her younger brother everything. Eva often watches her younger brother so her Dad can go to work. For now, they are staying in a hotel, but as everyone knows, that can quickly get expensive and unaffordable. Nor is it a long-term living situation. They will need to find a new place to live and get back on their feet. I am trying to do everything that I can to help the Vazquez family recover from such a terrible loss. Any donation helps. I am also happy to accept any donations such as clothing/shoes, personal hygiene items, and non-perishable foods on their behalf to bring to them.
