As many of you have already heard, our precious father, Daniel Shultz, passed away tragically on Saturday, June 25th in a drowning accident while vacationing with family on the New River. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for our dad from his community of friends, coworkers, classmates, and previous church family. He was beloved by many and we take comfort that we are not grieving alone. So many of you have asked how you can tangibly help our family through this tragedy—for which we are extremely grateful — so we would be honored if you would like to donate to help with the funeral costs or flying our brother’s family of 6 in from Oregon ($7000). Any additional funds will be used to help mom navigate the upcoming financial needs in this new life without dad. It is never easy to share your private needs, but we believe one of the primary ways the Lord provides for us is through His people, so we humbly present these needs for anyone who feels led to minister to us in this way.
