Waterfall Death During Family Vacation

Donation protected
On February 27, 2021 Sebastian Vargas lost his life  during a Hawaii trip with his wife, 11 month twin daughters, and friends. He wanted to share a beautiful moment with his wife and friends and go on a hike down to a waterfall.

They went on a beautiful hike together, connected, laughed, and bonded. The final moments Sebastian shared with his wife were special.

Sebastian and his friend decided to go down to the waterfall to experience the beauty nature has to offer. They wanted to stand under the water and bathe before going back up and continuing their journey down the road to Hana.

Unfortunately, his wife watched them walk into the forest and never walk back out.

Timing was such that as soon as they went down to the waterfall they were met with a flash flood tragically ending their lives. What was a moment of beauty and freedom in a flash turned tragic.

His friend was found in the ocean hours later, but Sebastian's body was never found.

Rescue teams searched for hours and days on land, by sea, and by air. It can be safely concluded that Sebastian has made the ocean his final destination.

The family has been overwhelmed with gratitude and have received an outpouring of help and people wanting to help.

They are very thankful and appreciative and thank you for any offering and donations.

They hope that this story gains attention and saves lives. Tourists are often unaware of dangers that can occur when doing something as innocent as going for a hike to see a waterfall.
