Update #3
Debbie has officially finished her radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, the radiation caused three severe ulcers in her esophagus, which led to an infection and eventually sepsis. Because of this, she had to spend a week in the hospital.
The ulcers have made it very difficult for Debbie to eat, swallow liquids, and even take her medications. Despite these challenges, she is continuing to push forward. Debbie will be starting immunotherapy on Thursday. On a positive note, she recently had an MRI and the scan looked good.
Debbie is incredibly grateful for all of the love and support she has received—whether through prayers, kind messages, or monetary support. It truly means so much to her and her family.
She still has a long road ahead. Debbie focusing on regaining her strength, being able to walk longer distances again, and seeing how her body responds to immunotherapy. Your continued support and prayers mean the world during this time.
Debbie is now halfway through her treatment, and while the road continues to be challenging, we are taking it one step at a time with strength and hope. Although she had hoped to continue working, treatment has required much-needed rest and recovery, and we are grateful she’s been able to focus on healing.
We cannot begin to express how thankful we are for the overwhelming generosity and support we’ve received—from family and friends, and also from kind strangers who stepped forward with compassion. Every donation, message, prayer, and share has meant the world to us. The love surrounding Debbie has been a powerful reminder that she is not facing this journey alone.
This remains a long road of treatment, but as we all know, Debbie is fierce, strong, and resilient. Your continued prayers, encouragement, and support truly help carry her through the difficult days.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Debbie and our family. Your kindness has made an immeasurable difference.

Help Support Debbie’s Fight Against Cancer
Debbie has always been the heart of our family and a bright light in our community. At 60 years old, she’s raised four children and is now a proud grandmother to amazing grandchildren who adore her. She’s spent her life giving to others from taking care of her family to greeting every customer with a smile at Oliveri's Pizzaria where she still works.
Recently, our world was turned upside down when Debbie was diagnosed with Limited Small Cell Carcinoma, an aggressive form of Lung cancer. She will be receiving a combination of Radiation and Chemotherapy for 5 to 6 weeks. After that treatment she will receive Immunotherapy for one year. Despite the challenges ahead, she continues to show incredible strength, courage, and positivity the same qualities she’s shown her whole life.
As she begins treatment, we want to make sure she can focus fully on healing without the added stress of medical bills, transportation costs, and lost income from time away from work. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ease that burden and allow her to get the care she needs.
If you’ve ever met Debbie, you know how much she gives of herself to her family, her friends, her customers, and her community. Now it’s our turn to give back to her.
Please consider donating or sharing this page to help support her fight. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
