Our family around the world is grieving with heavy hearts in wake of Melting Point director and cofounder Brytani Caipa’s passing.
With a strong belief that art could shake the world to its core, she shifted the landscape of what it means to be a socially conscious artist. She was deeply motivated by a desire to make the world a better place and wasn’t going to stop until that happened.
Brytani’s driving force was her mission to raise awareness, inspire change and stand in solidarity with marginalized communities. We have created this memorial fund to collect donations for three non-profits that Brytani cared about the most; Al Otro Lado, Melting Point and the Caipa Family Project 150 Scholarship for homeless and disadvantaged youth.
20% of donations will go to Melting Point to continue the work that Brytani started. The rest will be divided between Al Otro Lado, the organization supported by Melting Point to aid asylum seekers and immigrant rights, and the Brady Caipa Memorial Scholarship that Brytani worked passionately alongside her family to honor her late brother, Brady’s legacy and support disadvantaged youth in Las Vegas.
Brytani's vision was indomitable, her energy was relentless and her ability to unite us all will never be forgotten. With the love and support of our community we will continue her work to make the world a better place.
